UX/UI Design of a Digital Platform for Security Services
Written by
Sofia Bakhtiarova

Imagine a situation: you urgently need a security guard — for an event, for your home, or for your business. Usually, this involves endless phone calls, word-of-mouth recommendations, and a great deal of distrust. Clients lose time, while guards lose potential jobs.
Doberme solved this problem by creating a marketplace that directly connects clients with independent security guards. Our task as the design team was to transform this idea into a convenient, modern, and trustworthy digital product.

From Idea to Concept
We started with research. On one side, there were users who needed a simple and fast way to find a guard. On the other side, there were the guards themselves, who wanted transparency: clear rates, a convenient calendar, and the ability to manage their own profiles.
From the very beginning, it was clear that the design had to be both strict and approachable. We chose a clean visual aesthetic with soft gradients — professional in character, yet warm and engaging. The interface communicates to the user: “You are understood here, and your needs are cared for.”
Building the User Experience
We knew the platform had to feel equally comfortable for both clients and guards. That’s why we carefully developed scenarios for both sides:
For clients — the search process became simple and fast. Filters help find the right guard, profiles display documents and ratings upfront, and the calendar and chat make managing bookings as easy as ordering a taxi.
For guards — the dashboard became a real working tool. Guards can create a profile, upload verification documents, set their rates and schedule, chat with clients, and collect reviews — all in one place.
Referral Program — we added a “word-of-mouth” mechanic, allowing users to share codes and links to invite new clients and colleagues.
Every step was designed to keep the user journey straightforward and transparent: no unnecessary clicks, clear navigation logic, and visual cues that immediately inspire trust.

Landing Page as the Entry Point
For users, the landing page is the very first encounter with the product — the moment when they decide within seconds whether to stay or leave. We made sure this first impression was simple, clear, and convincing.
SEO and structure — the landing page was built not just to look appealing but to perform. Its architecture makes the product visible in search and drives real clients.
Value over features — people don’t care about “what the service can do,” but rather “how it solves my problem.” That’s why the landing page speaks the user’s language and immediately highlights the benefits.
Simplicity that inspires trust — no clutter, just clear blocks, clean visuals, and intuitive logic. Even a complex service feels easy and approachable.
Modern style — we struck a balance between the seriousness of the security industry and the lightness that makes a brand feel approachable. The landing page looks fresh and builds rapport from the very first seconds.

Outcome
As a result, Doberme gained not just a digital solution but a product that transformed the chaotic process of finding guards into a convenient and transparent service. Now, hiring a professional is as easy as booking a taxi — no unnecessary calls, clear conditions, and a modern interface.
The platform works seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, ensuring a unified experience for users in any context. The visual style balances the strictness of security with warmth and care for usability — making every step feel clear and reliable.
We created:
A guard’s personal dashboard where profiles, schedules, and rates can be managed with real control over income.
An interface built on trust, free from hidden commissions or the complex schemes typical of traditional agencies.
An intuitive booking and payment flow, making the service feel familiar and comfortable from the very first interaction.
A flexible visual system and UX architecture, ready to scale into new cities, segments, and corporate clients without losing brand integrity.
This is why we didn’t just “make a website” — we built a full ecosystem that grows, evolves, and unlocks new opportunities.
For us, this project became a great example of how design can transform the perception of an entire industry. We’re grateful to the Doberme team for their collaboration and for trusting us to create a product that changes the market.
